What is DICEI? The Illinois Early Intervention Service System Act created local interagency councils. These councils were formed with the idea of providing a forum to discuss and address specific needs of infants and young children with developmental delays and their families. The DuPage Interagency Council on Early Intervention (DICEI) is the local group to address these needs. DICEI is made up of parents, EI service providers, physicians, school district or special education cooperative personnel and other interested persons. This group works collaboratively to improve the local EI system. All DICEI members are equal partrners who attend regular council and committee meetings. DICEI meetings are held every other month at the CFC of DuPage office in Lombard. If you would be interested in joining this group, please attend our next meeting or call Marianne McGuire, DICEI Coordinator, at 630-493-0400 ext. 122 or email her at mmcguire@pactinc.net.
