Welcome to Child and Family Connections of DuPage!

Our goal is to see that families referred to CFC find it a friendly place with prompt answers to your questions and easily accessed information.  We want you to feel comfortable with us.  Call us if you have any questions, need resources or just need someone with a listening ear.

The Parent Liaison is a unique staff position in the Illinois Early Intervention program.  Each CFC office is required to have a parent liaison.  CFC of DuPage is fortunate to have two parent liaisons.

A parent liaison is a staff member who is a parent of a child with special needs or has a child who went through the EI system.  They have experienced first hand some of the same issues and challenges other families in EI are facing today.

Things We Can Help You With

  • Provide information about Early Intervention Services
  • Connect you with other parents with similar concerns
  • Provide specific disability information
  • Sponsor/lead a support group for parents
  • Provide support when your child moves into the school system at age 3
  • Be there when you need someone to just listen or when you want to talk to someone who's "been there"
